Benton is a partner at Duncan Stewart and Company and currently responsible for casting the Broadway revival of PIPPIN directed by Diane Paulus, the current Broadway and National touring companies of CHICAGO THE MUSICAL, the North American tour of WE WILL ROCK YOU, NATASHA PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 Off-Broadway, PAGEANT Off-Broadway, John Rando/Josh Bergasse’s ON THE TOWN currently in development for Broadway, and next season’s American Repertory Theatre’s production of THE TEMPEST. Prior to this, he was the Associate Casting Director at National Artists Management Company (NAMCO) where he cast the 2010 Broadway revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES as well as national tour, and other projects in development for Barry and Fran Weissler. Additional stage productions include New York’s annual RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR, Radio City’s new annual Spring production of HEART AND LIGHTS, the West End production of THRILLER LIVE (US Casting), the Vegas Beach Boys Musical SURF, directed by Kristin Hanggi, David Cromer’s YANK!, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines HAIRSPRAY, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER and CHICAGO, NYMF/Fringe productions, as well as working on the 2009 Revival of RAGTIME, Terrence McNally’s GOLDEN AGE (World Premiere), Randy Newman’s HARPS AND ANGELS at the Mark Taper Forum, and productions at The Kennedy Center, Alley Theatre, Marriott Lincolnshire, Wilma Theatre, Philadelphia Theatre Company, The Cape Playhouse, Forestburgh Playhouse, and consultation for The Old Globe, and North Shore Music Theatre.
