Celtic violinist Máiréad Nesbitt is a Grammy and Emmy nominated artist and composer, and founding member of Celtic Woman. She is the featured Celtic Violinist on all 11 Celtic Woman albums which have all achieved the #1 slot in the Billboard World Music Chart. Máiréad studied at the CIT Cork School of Music and at the London Royal Academy. Máiréad has two solo albums, Raining Up and Hibernia, as well as Devil’s Bit Sessions, exploring the musical heritage of the Nesbitt Family. Máiréad has also launched her own violin line, Máiréad Nesbitt Celtic Violin Collection which is now available on www.maireadnesbittviolin.com and from select stores in the USA and Ireland.
